Good day or evening, and a wonderful Yom Teruah to you, wherever you are, in the name of the Lord. I’m Ty Alexander Huynh, Elder Minister and Teacher of Mashiach Yeshua – Christ Jesus. I originally wrote this sermon about a month ago and did not plan it to be released for Yom Teruah, but in the days after I finished the first version of God’s Alarm, I felt the Lord wanted me to be much clearer about the Harlot Babylon.
The original alarm only alluded to the truth of what the Harlot is and directed people to look at previous work I did, because I’ve also been guided in the past that revealing some truths can be too much for people, even experienced ministers. Of these hard truths or “strong meat,” Yeshua – Jesus even told His disciples, “I have much more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them at the present time” (John 16:12).
However, soon after I wrote the alarm last month, the Lord reminded me that this is very serious, and my original call to attention was insufficient. God moved me to rework the alarm after I ran across what Apostle Paul said about our callings and use of spiritual gifts and revelation in 1 Corinthians 14, "How will I benefit you unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophecy, or of teaching… if the trumpet produces an indistinct sound, who will prepare himself for battle?" (1 Corinthians 14:6-8).
My alarm last month made a vague, indistinct sound, so now the Lord worked me to time His updated alarm to be clear and distinct, and to be sounded on Yom Teruah or the Day of Trumpets, when there is a sounding of the shofars and a call to attention. There are hard truths in this alarm, and some of you may not bear them well, so as Paul continued to speak of revelation, gifts, and knowledge in 1 Corinthians 14, I will repeat his words, so you may keep the Lord’s peace and not overreact - “Brothers and sisters, do not be children in your understanding; only in committing evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature” (1 Corinthians 14:20).
This alarm was already related to Yom Teruah, because last month, I felt the Lord moved me to speak about a “teruah alarm” related to the end of this age. For those who don’t know, teruah or ‘ter-ooah’ is the Hebrew word for a shout or loud noise, most typically from a shofar/trumpet sounding or vocal shout. The word is most commonly known from Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets, which is the first holiday in what Jews call the High Holy Days or Days of Awe near the end of the calendar year.
The teruah in Yom Teruah, though, does not refer to an alarm call, specifically, unless context warrants it, just as teruah does not explicitly or solely refer to a trumpet or shofar blowing, unless those words specify that. Keeping context correct is a very important part of correctly handling scripture and being an approved workman for the Lord (2 Timothy 2:15), so let’s examine teruah further.
The word "teruah" can describe any kind of loud sound, alarm, cry, or signal[2.900.11]
, and it is used in the Bible most often with shofar or trumpet blasts and shouting, like in rejoicing over the Lord, in shofar and trumpet calls for signaling and battle, and when God gave a teruah or loud shout as He ascended to heaven in Psalm 47, “God has ascended with a shout [with a teruah]; Yehovah, with the sound of a trumpet [or shofar]” (Psalm 47:5)
With this in mind, the teruah used with Yom Teruah in scripture (Leviticus 23:24; Numbers 29:1) does not specify what kind of shout or noise goes with the holiday. When I spoke of what Yom Teruah meant during the High Holidays last year, I said the teruah and shouting was a memorial and acknowledgment of Christ as King, because it was common for shofar blowing to be part of a king’s anointment and acknowledgment (1 Kings 1:39; 2 Kings 9:13, 11:12-14; 2 Chronicles 23:11-13).
However, if we look at the scripture related to the anointment of kings, the word “teruah” is not used in any of the verses. The Hebrew words used for blowing the shofars there are more generic “blow/blast/sound” (taqa, Strong's #8628 - תָּקַע) and “voice/sound” (qol, Strong's #6963 - קֹל) words. Why, would the Lord have me connect Yom Teruah to the anointment and acknowledgement of Christ then?
If we look at all the uses of “teruah” in scripture, it occurs about 36 times, depending on the Bible translation, but there are only two times “teruah” is NOT used in direct relation to a command of God, to show His glory, or with rejoicing in Him. One of those indirect uses is in Job 39:25, where God makes Job aware that his knowledge is insufficient compared to God’s.
The teruah in Job 39:25 is where God speaks of His creation in the horse, and how it does not fear to run in war, straight into the “thunder of the captains and teruah or shouting of war.”
The other use of teruah that is not directly related to God’s command, His glory, or rejoicing in Him is in Jeremiah 20:16, where Jeremiah laments over his troubles and wishes not to be born, saying, “May the man [who rejoices in my birth] be like the cities which the Lord Yehovah overthrew without relenting, and may he hear an outcry in the morning and a teruah/shouting of war at noon.”
Every other use of teruah in the Bible is related to a command of God, like to observe Yom Teruah (Leviticus 23:24; Numbers 29:1), to sound a teruah/trumpet for a Jubilee Year (Leviticus 25:9), to signal God’s camp to move with trumpet soundings (Numbers 10:5-6), to give a teruah of joy in God (Numbers 23:21; 1 Samuel 4:5-6; 2 Samuel 6:15; 1 Chronicles 15:28; 2 Chronicles 15:14; Ezra 3:11-13; Job 8:21, 33:26; Psalm 27:6, 33:3, 89:15, 150:5), to sound teruahs of judgment or battle by God's command (Numbers 31:6; Joshua 6:5, 6:20 (Jericho); 2 Chronicles 13:12; Jeremiah 4:19, 49:2; Ezekiel 21:22; Amos 1:14, 2:2; Zephaniah 1:16), and to sound a teruah relating to God's glory (Psalm 47:5).
The overwhelming use of teruah in direct relation to God and His glory are in synch with why I was guided that Yom Teruah is about affirming Christ’s anointment as King. Today, though, I’m talking about an alarm call, even though in all my years of ministry, the Lord never gave me a sense that Yom Teruah had an alarm kind of teruah associated with it. Why then is the Lord moving me to bring this up with Yom Teruah now?
In recent days, someone commented about the Yom Teruah service
I did last year and suggested the teruah went with an alarm kind of teruah, also noting that the traditional Jewish “teruah” type of shofar blowing is a staccato blast of many short notes that is used as a call to attention and alarm, especially for battle calls. These kinds of battle calls are most commonly heard today in military bugle calls.
The main problems with this person’s comments, though, were that he assumed his guidance and knowledge about the teruah, shofar blowing, and prophecies related to Yom Teruah had no error. He assumed the Jewish traditions he based much of his thinking on was not tainted by dark forces through the millennia.
The truth is, the traditions of Judaism today, and even centuries before Christ came, are not as God gave them, and it is relatively well-known that Christ, Himself, stated Jewish teachers and synagogues by the first century were of Satan (John 8:42-44; Revelation 2:9, 3:9).
However, I did find merit to some things the commenter gave about a future Yom Teruah being linked to a “teruah” or sounding to mark the very end of this age – the final week or “seven” of Daniel’s 70 sevens from Daniel 9:24-27 when the final antichrist is in power and turns back on a covenant, halfway in the last “seven” or week of Daniel’s 70, which are most commonly thought to be periods of seven years.
These links need further looking into, but because I found errors of scriptural interpretation in the commenter's remarks and reliance on tainted Jewish traditions, I cannot fully approve his prophetic theories. There is far too much false prophecy and false spiritual guidance in the church, and I have seen many, many ministers be overzealous with alarm from false prophecy and spiritual guidance because of religious spirits and imposters of the Lord giving false guidance.
So without further guidance from the Lord, of which I’ve asked for regarding this, I must leave the 70th Week Teruah prophecies until God shows what is good and valid prophecy (1 Thessalonians 5:21). As I said before, the Lord never gave me a sense of alarm in relation to Yom Teruah, and the leanings of the Spirit are an important part of guidance from God.
However, I must also acknowledge the ardent drive many believers feel with prophecy and spiritual guidance they get is very real, and they believe their strong feelings are of the Spirit and God’s Mind, but I must state it is very difficult in this age of spiritual imposters for anyone to discern what truly is from the Lord, even if you have God’s Spirit and spiritual gifts, so patience, careful examination, and the Lord’s help and wisdom are required for the truth to come forth.
Still, the Lord has moved me to write now of an alarm call, so there very well could be an alarm or call to attention related to a future Yom Teruah. The commenter noted coming to repentance was important, and last year, when I spoke of Yom Teruah
, I noted it is tradition and proper for us to reflect on past mistakes in preparation for the next High Holiday, Yom Kippur or Day of Atonement, which focuses a lot on recalling sin and repentance.
I was going to dismiss the commenter’s teruah prophecies, but just a couple days afterwards, I was reminded about guidance I got with coral reefs and that much of my ministry had to do with getting God’s People to pay attention to these times of a corrupted church and the effects of sin.
A year or two ago, I saw a documentary on how much of the world’s coral reefs are bleaching or dying off and turning white from their skeletons being left behind, because of the global warming of the earth’s oceans. Some of the corals turned a bright pink or violet fluorescent color before they died, which I felt was a spiritual metaphor and sign from the Lord.
This bright fluorescence is a call to attention in itself, like a loud teruah blast is a call to attention in the Bible. Biologists believe the corals turn bright when they produce a sunscreen to try and protect themselves from the intense heat of the sun, and the spiritual metaphor with this is that, now, in the end of this age, when God’s tribulations and judgments become more and more severe, just like the earth’s warming has created more and more severe weather, the environment we live in will become too heated for people to survive in, just as most corals that bleach and fluoresce won’t survive.
This is obviously a warning and link to the worsening of the world’s “climate” at the end of the age when the judgments of God come to destroy much of mankind and the earth, even the saints and other believers of God (Daniel 7:21-22; Revelation 13:7), up until the Lord must return to end the last antichrist’s reign of power (Daniel 7:21-22; Revelation 19:11-21).
This is a scary time, as the world has shown more and more of the signs of the end of this age – wonders in the sky and on the earth, some of which I have spoken of before (see Predestined)
, and blood, fire, and columns of smoke (Joel 2:30-31; Acts 2:18)
. In relation to the fire and smoke, an international study recently reported a severe state for the world's climate, saying, "It is unequivocal that human influence has warmed the atmosphere, ocean and land"[6.21.1]
. They cited centuries worth of climate data showing evidence that man's work has caused more frequent and severe heatwaves, droughts, storms, and flooding.
In North America, we've seen the largest spread of heatwaves and wildfires in history this summer, and locally in the Midwest, I got a tangible sense of this when huge wildfires in Canada, many hundreds of miles away, darkened Minnesota skies with smoke for days. I have lived in Minnesota for almost 50 years and have never seen events like this.
So even the most skeptical must look again, because the signs God stated for the end of the age are being fulfilled in our days. Even Christ's statement of "perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves" (Luke 21:25) has happened from more and more severe hurricanes, typhoons, and tsunamis from earthquakes. Even major cities, like New York and Philadelphia, were inundated with waves and major flooding that killed dozens of people this year in the heavy rains from what was Hurricane Ida.
Yeshua - Jesus' statement that the gospel must be preached to all the nations before the end (Matthew 24:14; Mark 13:10)
is also fulfilled, as I've noted in the past (see Ministry Warnings)
, the world knows who Christ is today, certainly every major nation and modern community. Jeremiah's prophesy is fulfilled, stating, "They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them" (Jeremiah 31:34)
, because all the world has heard of Yeshua Mashiach - Jesus Christ.
The world has been saturated with evangelism for centuries, and now, often the church has been overzealous, making nonbelievers everywhere skittish and anxious to avoid its recruitment. A sign this is true came to my attention recently by the Lord's revelation, because I had often wondered why non-native Asian carp are so easily spooked, jumping out of the waters of the Mississippi River in large numbers, when they do not do that in their native habitat.
This strange, new behavior was even reported in Israel a couple years ago in the Sea of Galilee[4.1.7]
. A fisherman of the waters for 30 years said he had never seen such behavior. Scientists' know the behavior is an escape mechanism, which was made more apparent by the fish in Galilee. Their response was triggered by fishermen throwing nets in the water, which set off an "unusually aggressive escape response" to get out of the nets.
The Lord's revelation told me this behavior is a direct link to the scripture where Christ recruits the first disciples fishing in the Sea of Galilee to become fishers of people (Matthew 4:18-22, Mark 1:16-20, Luke 5:1-11), and after His resurrection, He helped them bring in a large haul of 153 fish, also in the Sea of Galilee (John 21:1-11), which symbolized the beginning of the age of evangelism.
The metaphor for catches of fish representing people being evangelized is further reinforced in the Parable of the Net, where Christ said, "the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered fish of every kind; and when it was filled, they pulled it up on the beach; and they sat down and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away" (Matthew 13:47-50).
So the recent, new behavior of fish trying desperately to escape catch is God's sign that people, especially in the United States and the Holy Land, are now very wary of the church's evangelism and the end of the age has come, when "people faint from fear and the expectation of the things that are coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near" (Luke 21:26-28).
Do not cripple yourselves with anxiety, because there are many years still and much needs to take place until the end. The heating of God’s judgments has been happening for decades, at least, and likely for many centuries, since the Apostle Peter confirmed that the Pentecost of Acts 2 fulfilled Joel’s prophecy of the “Last Days”:
“But Peter, taking his stand with the other eleven [disciples of Christ], raised his voice and declared to them, ‘Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, know this, and pay attention to my words. For these people, [who are prophesying and speaking in all languages,] are not drunk, as you assumed, since it is only the third hour of the day [about 9 a.m.], but [these things are] what has been spoken through the prophet Joel, ‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says, ‘That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy… and I will display wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth below, blood, fire, and vapor of smoke.” (Acts 2:14-19)
This means we have been in the Last Days since the Pentecost of Acts 2. And know also, that the Beast of the Last Days consists of many kings and kingdoms that have come, gone, and are yet to be (Daniel 7:24; Revelation 17:8-13), so God’s People have been going through tribulations of the Beast for many centuries.
However, we are now very near to the end of this age. The Lord has given me much guidance to affirm that (see Predestined for more)
, and has even shown COVID-19 to fulfill prophecies of tribulation in Isaiah 24-26 (see COVID-19)
A very important part of the Lord’s calling me to ministry was to bring attention to the working of sin the church and God’s People continue in, how to correct them, and come to the place of protection prophesied in Revelation 12 for the Bride of Christ, where she will get the wings of a great eagle and fly to a place where she will be safe from Satan, for a time, times, and half a time – a period going with Daniel’s 70th seven and the end of this age.
If you’ve paid any attention to world events, you will have noticed much more heated tribulation in the world, especially in the last few years with more frequent severe weather events, the COVID-19 pandemic, civil unrest and violent crime that brought the richest and most secure nations to the same level of turmoil seen in countries, like the Sudan, Uganda, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ukraine, and the Middle East, etc. that have seen much upheaval from radical, militant groups and disease in the last decades.
This spread of God’s judgments upon the nations is no accident, just as global warming is no accident of nature. Like the world’s unchecked and unwise use and destruction of natural resources are pushing the earth’s climate to harsh extremes, the world’s rampant sin culminates in God’s anger and judgment.
But these tribulations are also calls to recognize our wrongs and repent or turn away from bad ways onto true paths of righteousness. That is the call to attention or teruah that I’ve focused much ministry time on, and so I must reiterate the call now, so that the corals of the kingdom may be saved and come to be part of the Bride with eagle wings, who survives safely at the end of the age as noted in Revelation 12:14.
Much of the church may scoff at that, thinking they will be saved simply because they believe in Christ and the Rapture will save them. The commenter who brought up the Yom Teruah prophecies also expressed concern for the church’s lack of interest in the relatively near future Great Tribulation, and suggested the church was too afraid to confront the truth.
However, I don’t see so much fear to confront the truth in the church, but rather abundant zeal for it. The problem is God’s People are blinded and won't accept the truth, because of lies and false teaching they won’t let go of. They believe God will protect the church because we love the Lord and belong to Him. Is that enough to spare the church when the final hour of testing comes upon the whole earth?
Simply loving the Lord was not what God told the Church of Philadelphia would keep them through the hour of man’s testing (Revelation 3:8-13)
, and I’ve been led to see the Rapture will not save the church from the Great Tribulation (see Myth 4a, Light Within)
. Why would the Bride need the wings of an eagle in Revelation 12 to bring her to safety for a time, times, and half a time if she will be safely Raptured? (Revelation 12:14)
Our transformation in the Rapture is permanent, for eternity, not for a time, times, and half a time.
The reality is that God’s People will be on earth through the Great Tribulation, but sufficient righteousness is lacking in her, and the kingdom is overrun with the tares or weeds and lies and schemes of the devil. I lament this as the Lord lamented over the lost purity of His consecrated ones in Lamentations 4, where the corals of the kingdom’s glory were ruddy in radiance, brighter than milk, purer than snow, and more lustrous than sapphire (Lamentations 4:7). The church is suffering and dying today in God’s judgments along with nonbelievers, like coral reefs are bleaching all over the world.
How much of God’s People have died of COVID-19? How many are killed and tortured by judgment, war, and militants? The church cannot say they are exempt from judgment when believers around the world have been getting kidnapped, raped, and tortured; held captive for months and even years. If you know nothing of these events, then you’ve shut yourself into a world of fantasy. I pray you come to attention and come to accept the truth.
The church cannot say her suffering is only because of righteousness in Christ or martyrdom. Not when believers suffer horrifically for years, and you know the Lord keeps safe the righteous (1 Samuel 2:9), and those who suffer despite being righteous only suffer a short time or are comfortable in their prisons, like Joseph was when he was kidnapped and imprisoned in Egypt (Genesis 37:18-41:45, 39:20-23), and the apostles where only imprisoned for brief periods in Acts (Acts 4:1-23, 5:17-21, 12:3-19, 16:23-34; also Revelation 2:10).
Those who believe in the Lord are supposed to be able to survive the bites of vipers and the effects of poison without harm (Mark 16:17-18), like Apostle Paul did when he was bitten by a viper in Malta (Acts 28:1-6). Should not the righteous servant of God also then be able to survive COVID-19 and other tribulations without harm today? Yet we see the church and other believers dying along with the rest of the world. Ask yourselves why that is, and what righteousness is lacking in the church and God’s People.
The Lord has led me to understand how to truly belong to Him and pursue righteousness, so that we may fly to safety with the wings of an eagle. There are many sins the church needs to address, but some of the most important matters of righteousness were given to the Church of Philadelphia when Christ spoke in Revelation 3.
He speaks of knowing their deeds and the door, which no one can shut, and following His word, so that they would not deny His name (Revelation 3:8)
. These are explicit references to how the New Covenant works to save us and keep us saved, making us truly belong to God through Christ (see The True Gospel and Imposters for more)
Without truly belonging to Christ, we are not really saved or in God’s kingdom, even if you have faith in Yeshua - Jesus, which means God is more likely to treat you the same as a nonbeliever and not give you blessings that come with the kingdom of God. Apostle Paul said, if you have not the Spirit of God, then you are none of His (Romans 8:9); flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, therefore the perishable will not become imperishable, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet when the dead are raised and we are changed from our mortal bodies into the immortal (1 Corinthians 15:50-53).
As Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:51, this is a mystery. It is linked to the mystery of the church and Christ being one in flesh in Ephesians 5:31-32, which I revealed the meaning of in previous discussions of the New Covenant (see The True Gospel and Imposters)
Here, I will cover the basics and say the majority of the church’s teaching of salvation is incomplete and often in error, which can result in believers not being truly saved in Christ, and therefore not belonging to God when it can matter for our earthly salvation in this life, such as saving us through the tribulations of the age, as is noted in Revelation 3 to the Church of Philadelphia.
But belonging to Christ is only one part of the picture. Other sin and righteousness, besides denying Christ, are the other parts, and very important, as the Lord spoke six times of knowing the deeds of the seven churches in Revelation (Revelation 2:2, 2:19, 2:23, 3:1, 3:8, 3:15). The kinds of sin you continue in and your pursuit of what is right play major roles in your temporal salvation of this life. How we work out this salvation is important, and it is to be with fear and trembling as Paul put it in Philippians 2:12, so we can come out of curses and affliction from sin, and be protected from serious tribulation events.
There are many issues of sin that afflict the church. They are too numerous to speak of here, but I will discuss some very important ones, as the Lord has compelled me to note this call to attention and warning for your benefit – so that you can be certain you are saved in Christ and taking sufficient care of sin and righteousness.
Christ said Himself of this, "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. For this reason you must be ready as well; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will. Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes. Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions" (Matthew 24:42-47); "Be on your guard, so that your hearts will not be weighed down with excesses, recklessness, and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that this day will not come on you suddenly, like a trap; for it will come upon all those who live on the face of all the earth. But stay alert at all times, praying that you will have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:34-36).
The Lord is saying, do not let sin allow your house to be broken into and be caught unprepared, but instead feed your house with the solid food that will sustain its well-being, right up into the Lord's return - "For everyone who partakes only of milk is unacquainted with the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to distinguish between good and evil" (Hebrews 5:13-14).
And so, to make this teruah call of alarm firm and distinct, "for if the trumpet produces an indistinct sound, who will prepare himself for battle?" (1 Corinthians 14:8), I must give those who are taking heed solid food that is for the mature, so that you may distinguish between good and evil.
What I say may offend many, but your acceptance of the truth and acting with it for the good, will become increasingly important as God's judgments upon the earth continue to become worse, and the time of the final antichrist arrives. The Lord's People will need greater discernment that is unattainable from a diet of mostly spiritual milk, as we have been deceived for centuries already. And still, within the final hour, the Lord said, even the elect will be deceived (Matthew 24:24).
Praise the Lord He has shown me the many deceptions God’s People have succumbed to for so long. My ministry’s path was always towards greater discernment for the benefit of us all, so it is imperative you heed the call of Christ, first spoken through John the Apostle, "Come out of her, [the Harlot Babylon], My people, so that you will not share in her sins" (Revelation 18:4). She will be destroyed in the final hour as well, and with great violence, "for her sins have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her offenses" (Revelation 18:5, 18:21).
But how can we leave the Harlot when her identity has been a mystery ever since John recorded God's command to leave? (Revelation 17:5-18) The Lord left this mystery sealed until our time, because the truth of the Harlot is one that is very hard to accept. Its realization is so difficult and damaging that the Lord deemed it necessary to leave it until the end of the age, because it goes with the Parable of the Tares (or Weeds) and Wheat in God’s kingdom, where Christ said the weeds in the kingdom, those planted by the devil, must not be uprooted until the end of the age, otherwise the wheat of God’s planting might also be uprooted (Matthew 13:24-30, 13:36-43).
Now, we are at the end, and God’s mysteries are coming to completion and are to be revealed, “for nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light” (Mark 4:22; Matthew 10:26; Luke 12:2). The Lord led me to understand why He let the weeds in the kingdom stay with God’s wheat until now. It is because revealing the true nature of the devil’s work and influence in the church, and God’s kingdom as a whole, can lead believers to turn back on belief and lose faith in Christ and God.
That is the uprooting of the wheat that might happen with uprooting the weeds spoken of in the parable (Matthew 13:29). I realized this after I had to tell a Christian brother he was following false guidance from imposters of the Lord. When he accepted evidence of the truth, he didn’t know what to believe anymore and even considered turning away from faith in Christ. It wasn’t just because of what the Harlot is, but because the weeds in the kingdom are linked to the false teaching and spiritual guidance of imposters of God and the saints – spirits claiming to be God, Christ, His Spirit, or His angels and saints, but are not.
It is a terrible thing to find out who you've been talking to in prayer and giving your complete trust to for spiritual guidance was not God or the real thing, but actually an imposter. Such a violation of trust can surely make us lose faith, because you lose trust in everything else you believe in.
Distrust and confusion may come in this, but above all, keep your faith in Christ. There is so much physical evidence, like archeological discoveries, that back up Christ's first coming, as well as other contents of the Bible (Lee Strobel's book, A Case For Christ, is a good study for Biblical validation), and I can attest to the truth of spiritual things taught in the Bible with my own experiences, so I have complete faith in scripture’s authenticity as a historical record and testimony.
The Bible is also a testimony of the bad side of spiritual things – demons, dark powers, and spiritual imposters - but the Lord warned us about the fakes in the New Testament, as Yeshua - Jesus said of false christs, “If anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘He is over here,’ do not believe him… Behold, I have told you in advance… if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them” (Matthew 24:23-25).
It is commonly thought that Christ was speaking of people claiming to be the Messiah in those verses, but it also includes imposter spirits that give people false spiritual guidance, signs, and miracles, which I have seen many people in the church come to be blinded by.
Demons can fake nearly any spiritual gift or miracle, as that is the working of Satan, and the enemy has and will continue to deceive the elect (Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; 2 Thessalonians 2:9), even through the final antichrist and his false prophet (Revelation 19:20). I’ve seen the church saturated with false teaching and guidance from these imposters. That should not come as a surprise if you realize that after two thousand years of leaving weeds to grow, they would overtake the wheat in the field of God’s kingdom.
Even more distressing is the blind faith believers give to these imposters, and how firmly they hold onto the false teachings and guidance they get, thinking they are truly speaking with God, His angels, or saints, especially when their guidance is backed up by miracles. Some ministries were even deceived to believe the Lord already returned, and we are in the Millennial Reign, but despite being given scripture and plain logic to contradict false guidance, they simply reject the truth and continue to accept their imposters and false guidance.
They have been brainwashed to believe in lies, especially because miracles come to affirm the lies. That is how the final antichrist will work as well - with demons coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and false prophet that look like frogs and perform signs to deceive the world (Revelation 16:13).
It was many years ago that the Lord led me to understand the frog-like demons are spirits that use truth, but skew and misconstrue it, so that lies mixed with truth would be accepted. And since then, it has been disturbing to see that the imposter demons afflicting the church have been working in the same way – giving miracles to back up lies, false guidance, and skewed truth - and more recently this has taken a very public and dangerous turn when I saw that guidance and brainwashing found in the “Q” phenomenon and its sometimes-violent followers are exactly the same as what I saw coming from imposters of the Lord.
This Q phenomenon has many believers deceived in twisted truth and plain lies that generates the same kind of misguided, religious zeal that has blinded Islamist extremists and other radicals. But what does this have to do with leaving the Harlot Babylon and God’s alarm?
In Revelation 17, the Harlot is described as, “A woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls, holding in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her sexual immorality” (Revelation 17:3-4).
God says, “Leave her, so you will not share in her sins and receive any of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4). It may be more apparent what the Harlot is now that I’ve brought up the weeds and imposters in the kingdom. The Harlot is not a nation, as many in the church think. God said in Revelation 17, she is “the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth” (Revelation 17:18), and Revelation 18 continues to refer to her as a great city. But what city could she be?
Looking to geographic maps will not give the answer, because the Harlot Babylon is a metaphorical spiritual city, just as New Jerusalem is the metaphorical spiritual city of God’s kingdom of heaven (Revelation 3:12, 21:2). The Harlot is the opposite of New Jerusalem; you could say its antitype – one defined by sin and wickedness, rather than righteousness.
In Zechariah 5, the Harlot is called Wickedness and envisioned in a basket, and transported to the land of Shinar, an older name for Babylon (Zechariah 5:6-11; [2.8126.96.36.199])
. This is a picture of the People’s sin being brought to Babylon where she will be set on her own pedestal (Zechariah 5:11)
This shows that the Harlot Babylon is not a new entity for the end of our age, but has been a part of God’s People throughout history. Revelation 17 reinforces that, as it says the Harlot is the “Mother of prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth” (Revelation 17:5), so many sins have come out of her since the creation of mankind.
The Harlot also sits on the beast who was, and is not, and is about to come, which is composed of seven kings, of which five had fallen and one was living by the time Revelation was written, but one future king, the final antichrist with the false prophet, is still to come (Revelation 17:8-11; Daniel 7:23-27).
All of this means the Harlot Babylon or anti-new-Jerusalem includes the Jews and church, as well as other religions that recognize God, such as Islam, but follow false teachings and live in sin. The church’s involvement becomes apparent when you see many aspects of the Harlot have been fulfilled throughout the church’s history, especially in the Catholic and later Protestant and Reformation Churches. They have fulfilled the Harlot “reigning over kings of the earth” as Revelation says (Revelation 17:18).
This is because she has had great power over many kingdoms throughout Europe, the Mediterranean, and Russia, and has even appointed their kings and forced their compliance to her will.
The Harlot is also part of the fourth beast in Daniel 7 (Daniel 7:7-8, 7:19-27), which is well known to represent Rome and the nations and powers that rose from ancient Rome. This includes the Roman Catholic Church that came after the Emperor Constantine embraced Christianity in the 4th Century. The church became a dominant force in sculpting society after this time, and her priests even had exalted rank equal to that of nobility.
This is the pedestal the Harlot is set on in Zechariah 5:11, and Revelation 18 states how she believes she is married to the Lord and has eternal security, “for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as a queen and I am not a widow, and will never see mourning’” (Revelation 18:7). The church’s dominance in Medieval European society was evident, and she controlled much of the commerce at the time, making her and the merchants she worked with extremely wealthy, which fulfills more scripture about the Harlot, because “the merchants of the earth have become rich from the excessive wealth of her luxury” (Revelation 18:3).
If you go through the list in Revelation 18 of what the Harlot and her merchants traded in (Revelation 18:12-13), you will recognize many items that are commonly used in well-furnished churches and cathedrals to this day. Items like very valuable wood, marble, gold, silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen, purple silk, and scarlet, of which the vestments of clergy and ceremonial items and statues are made. And incense, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour, and wheat, of which are often used in rituals. If you go through a typical church supply catalog today, all these fine and very expensive items are still being sold.
But in Revelation 18, the worse items being traded by the harlot and her merchants are slaves and human lives, which refers to the slave trade, of which the church cannot deny being involved in, as it is well known that Christians and their kingdoms, like in Great Britain, France, Spain, Portugal, and the United States, participated in enslaving Africans for centuries during their expansion into the New World. And perhaps most notoriously and recently, the Catholic kingdom of Belgium under King Leopold II, brutally enslaved the people of the Congo until early in the last century.
Because of the Harlot’s vast corruption through many centuries, “her sins have piled up as high as heaven” (Revelation 18:5), the Lord remembers her offenses and will destroy her; “In one day her plagues will come, plague and mourning and famine, and she will be burned with fire, for the Lord God who judges her is strong” (Revelation 18:8).
If these words are too strong for you, then you have not grown with solid spiritual food. Didn’t Paul warn the church to not be arrogant in our election to the kingdom? Our anointment as ministers replaced the Hebrew priesthood, who are of the natural olive tree, but wasn’t it because of sin the natural olive branches were cut off? So do not be conceited, but fear, for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you either (Romans 11:11-21).
The Apostle James reinforces this concept of the Harlot Church when he called the sinning brethren, “adulteresses,” in James 4 (James 4:4-10).
You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore, whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the scripture says to no purpose, ‘He jealously desires the Spirit whom He has made to dwell in us’?
Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God truly dwells in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)
God gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, ‘God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.’ Submit therefore to God, and do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God in you, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption when the Lord returns (Ephesians 4:30). But resist the devil and remove the hooks darkness has in you, and the enemy will flee from you.
We know that no one who has been born of God wishes to continue in sin; for whomever was born of God has His Spirit within, and if his will remains strong for righteousness, he can keep from falling to temptation, and the evil one does not touch him. (1 John 5:18)
Remember the Lord’s warning – the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak (Matthew 26:41; Mark 14:38). Therefore, be apart from sin and temptation, and come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be miserable, and mourn, and weep over your sins; let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into gloom, so that you may humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
Now you can see, God accused the church of adultery in the New Testament, just as He did of His People in the Old Testament. God calls her the Harlot or Prostitute because His People belong to Him through covenant, like a bride to her husband (Malachi 2:14), and we are supposed to be loyal to Him and His commands. So sexual immorality, fornication, and adultery are used to describe the behavior of God’s People and the Harlot Babylon. The Old Testament has many references to His People being described as a prostitute and committing adultery because of her sins, and the Lord even said He divorced His People for it (Jeremiah 3:8).
The term “God’s People,” however, mainly applies only to Jews and Christians. Muslims believe they belong to God as well, but their faith is a corrupted version of scripture and truth that was brought forward by imposter spirits, so even though they believe they inherit God’s kingdom through Abraham’s first son, Ishmael, born through the slave woman, Hagar, God said it was Abraham’s promised son, Isaac, through his wife Sarah, who received the promise of the eternal covenant (Genesis 17:18-21). Scripture says Abraham’s descendants through Hagar and Ismael will not receive God’s eternal inheritance, “for the son of the slave woman shall not be an heir with the son of the free woman” (Galatians 4:20; Genesis 21:10).
The truth of what the Harlot Babylon is should now be clear. The great city is God’s People and other believers who were and are corrupted in sin. After the church came out of the Beast that was ancient Rome, she has had great power and rank in the centuries afterwards, but unfortunately, she was also corrupted by pagan traditions and the influence of demons, not unlike what Judaism went through. I already brought up imposters in the church, and that Christ stated Judaism was corrupted by Satan, but I also said Islam is part of the Harlot. That religion doesn’t seem to belong with Judaism or Christianity.
However, if you understand that Islam believes in God and the Abrahamic forefathers, then it’s easy to see that Muslims have a history in common with Jews and the church. The Lord guided me to see this early in 2020, so the Harlot Babylon is the great unassailable city consisting of people from any Abrahamic religion – Judaism, Christianity, and Islam – or any other religion that believes in God, but live in sin, because they believe in and teach false versions of God, His kingdom, and righteousness.
A part in Islam’s harlotry is from her antichrist beliefs that fail the test of acknowledging Christ in the flesh, as the Apostle John said, “By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses Yeshua Mashiach - Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Yeshua - Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist” (1 John 4:1-3). So when you understand that Islam was founded by Muhammad, who said the Archangel Gabriel taught and guided him to found a new religion that denies the truth of Christ about 500 years after He came, you have to conclude that Islam’s Gabriel was not a spirit from God, but an imposter.
The seriousness of false teaching is emphasized in all my speaking of imposters and false teaching. It truly is a sin (Galatians 1:1-9), as Apostle Paul said, “[Those who distort the gospel of Christ are to be accursed.] But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!” (Galatians 1:6-9). And even in the Old Covenant, it was a sin to give false teaching, as the Lord said, “Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take anything away from it” (Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32).
Being cursed from false gospels and teaching doesn’t just include being afflicted with imposter spirits, but it can also have you living in sin that risks you and your family’s state of righteousness, and therefore ability to come safely through the judgments at the end of this age.
It may not be obvious, but a sin the church and Harlot unwittingly participate in is idolatry or the worship of idols, other gods, or anything that is not God (1 Corinthians 10:6-14; Colossians 3:5). That includes the saints and other spirits, like the imposters I brought up, so when believers follow the false teachings of imposters and make them their masters, they are committing idolatry, because they are worshipping them and treating them the same as God.
We are not supposed to have more than one God, one Teacher, Father, Master, or Leader (Matthew 23:9-10; Matthew 6:24; Luke 16:13), so if we follow false ones or follow preachers that follow false ones, we are not truly living by the Spirit or through God as our only Teacher, Father, and Leader.
This hidden idolatry and using false teaching and guidance are reasons why many Christians and other believing communities and individuals have come under judgment in these times, like dying of COVID-19 and having no protection from the torture and attack of militant groups. This is discernment the church and God’s People are in much need of, especially when so many think judgment, like COVID-19, is not judgment from God.
However, the pandemic is from the Lord, and the climate of God’s judgments is heating up, and the corals are dying. In the end, the church and all institutions that are part of the Harlot will be destroyed, for Christ will not be leading a corrupted church, People, or kingdom when He returns. False teaching will be destroyed, and the weeds in the kingdom will be burned at the end of this age (Matthew 13:30, 13:40-42). Satan and his deceptions, which include false teaching, will be prevented from corrupting mankind after the Lord returns, at least until the thousand-year Millennial Reign is complete (Revelation 20:1-3).
The Lord is warning now again, Come out of the Harlot Babylon. He has revealed her nature, so you may leave and not be a part of her sins. This means you must leave her ways and stop accepting false teaching, false guidance, and false gospels from imposters of the Lord and His saints. If you are truly loyal to God, you will be very diligent to remove yourself and your ministries from the influences of these imposters and their teaching, and you will make certain you belong to the true Lord of all and know what righteousness really is.
You would also address any sin the Harlot is accused of, such as haughtiness, self-exaltation, and greed (Revelation 17:4, 18:3, 18:7, 18:9, 18:16), sorcery (Revelation 18:23), thievery, bearing false witness, swearing falsely by the Lord’s name (Zechariah 5:1-4), and all kinds of other sin that violate loyalty to God and His commandments, which is stated as “sexual immorality or fornication” in Revelation 17.
In contrast to the Harlot, the land of the loyal and Married People of God is called Beluah, Hebrew for Married (Isaiah 62:4)
. This refers to truly belonging to the Lord, which by the New Covenant happens when we are saved and, literally, reborn with God’s Spirit through Christ. I have often spoken of how that works, and that sin alone cannot take away our eternal salvation in Christ (see The True Gospel and Imposters)
, so even if you live in sin and are in the Harlot, that doesn’t mean you lost your eternal salvation. But in God’s alarm today, you are being called to see how sin and being part of the Harlot can greatly affect your salvation in this life - how well you are protected against judgment and tribulation.
In Hosea 6, the Lord says, “For I desire loyalty rather than sacrifice, and the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings” (Hosea 6:6), which means He prefers our loyalty or faithfulness to Him, and acting in righteousness or knowing how to act and living it. That is the "knowledge or acknowledgement of God" in that verse. He wants that faithfulness, rather than sacrifices and burnt offerings, which are less important observations of the Law of Moses. That means God wants our loyalty and righteousness more than our minute obeying of unimportant or less important laws and commands.
A very important part of loyalty and righteousness to God in this age is to make sure you really do belong to Him by maintaining your eternal salvation in the kingdom through Christ. I am not speaking of salvation through works, which is a false gospel. I’m referring to how the New Covenant works to save and deny our eternal salvation.
Remember, Paul said we do not belong to God if we do not have His Spirit (Romans 8:9), which refers to our being reborn with the Holy Spirit by the New Covenant. It is the state of being truly saved in Christ. So to leave the Harlot, the first step is loyalty to God by making sure we truly belong to Him and are reborn through the New Covenant.
That is done by fulfilling and keeping its terms, as it is a conditional covenant, just like the Old Covenant was and still is. A person’s submission to be a Jew under the Law of Moses requires obedience to all the commands God gave in it (Galatians 3:10, 5:3; Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32), as well as, acceptance of its blessings and curses. It is a heavy yoke to live under, as that Law has many conditions to be fulfilled, many of which can no longer be satisfied, because priestly duties, blood sacrifices, and other offerings are no longer being performed.
This strict need to obey all the Law of Moses (Galatians 5:3) is why Paul said all who agree to it is cursed, “For it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them’” (Galatians 3:10; Deuteronomy 27:26).
The New Covenant, though, is a much lighter yoke. We only need belief in Yeshua – Jesus, acknowledge that in front of others, and never deny that faith publicly (Matthew 10:32-33). Christ said, “Therefore, everyone who acknowledges Me before people, I will also acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies Me before people, I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 10:32-33).
That is the more complete picture of how the New Covenant works with faith in Christ. These details, as well as others, are commonly overlooked by the church, but God brought me to a fuller understanding of His kingdom as a very important part of ministry. If you want more scriptural back-up and other evidence for these things, see The True Gospel and Imposters

Our proper fulfilment of getting and keeping eternal salvation in Christ is what Jesus meant in "seek first His kingdom..." (Matthew 6:33). Doing it properly ensures we belong to Christ, even though we are imperfect in being sinless.
Furthermore, the whole of Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness [then your material needs will be provided],” which refers to becoming part of God’s kingdom, as well as, to coming out of sin – Seek first His righteousness. It is sin that can make us belong to the Harlot Babylon even if we are truly saved in Christ. That means people can be part of the Harlot and the saved Bride at the same time. Remember, both the Harlot and New Jerusalem are spiritual and metaphorical cities that are defined by sin and righteousness, respectively.
The kinds of sin you and your ministry participate in defines whether or not you are in the Harlot, while the kind of righteousness you have defines whether you are in New Jerusalem, at least in this life. It is only at the end of this life that your final state of being in the eternal heaven of New Jerusalem will be determined.
Being truly saved in Christ through the power of His gospel is a big factor in that, so no matter how you feel about what is said here, never turn back on your belief in Christ and never deny that publicly. Those are sins of denying Christ that will remove your name from the Book of Life. It is something the Married Bride of Christ will never do.
However, there are many other sins that come out of the Harlot, and in Zechariah 5:1-4, it says swearing falsely by the Lord’s name is one. But you may wonder how the church does that. An example is using the Lord’s name for selfish and unrighteous gain, such as when the church sold atonement for sins and penitence certificates, and a modern-day example is in the Prosperity Gospel, when ministers of this false doctrine use the Lord’s name to pronounce the lie of great wealth and prosperity for you in return for giving them money. They often say you are giving to the Lord, but if they are good stewards of what belongs to the Lord, not one penny would be used for selfish gain or for anything the Lord does not deem as fitting for His ministry work.
In the Harlot, there are ministries living as multi-millionaires off of tithes and offerings; money that is often deemed sacred to the Lord (Deuteronomy 26:13), literally belonging to Him, not His stewards. There will be an accounting for the misuse and theft of His funds, as there surely is for lying in His name for personal gain. Greed and excessive luxury are stated as traits of the Harlot in Revelation (Revelation 18:3, 18:7, 18:9).
The sins of murder and idolatry through the saints are also shown in her, because she is drunk with the blood of the saints and witnesses of Christ (Revelation 17:6). This not only refers to the church and God’s People killing the servants of God (Revelation 18:24 also states this), but it also refers to her idolatrous drunkenness in worshipping the saints and angels. This is especially common in the Catholic and Orthodox churches, who often pray to and idolize the saints and angels. This has brought imposters of the saints to deceive them further with false miracles and signs, like apparitions of Mother Mary performing signs and other miracles that end up having the saints and angels worshipped.
In Revelation 18, it says, the Harlot “has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird” (Revelation 18:2). This is a reference to how afflicted the church is with demons of all kinds because of her sin. And the reference to unclean and hateful birds is simply a restatement of demons in the Harlot, because birds are a metaphor for Satan and demons in the Parable of the Sower, where they take away God’s good seed given to people (Matthew 13:4, 13:19; Mark 4:4, 4:15; Luke 8:5, 8:12).
And what about sorcery or witchcraft? (Revelation 18:23) How can the church be accused of that when she has accused others of the same through her history? This is also fulfilled in the church, as I have seen methods of creating holy water that use forms of sorcery, and there are sects of Christianity around the world that mix pagan traditions of black magic or voodoo with Christian religion, like found in Haiti, the Caribbean, and African communities.
All of these truths are the picture of the Harlot Babylon, God gave to me over many years. His alarm call fits what I know we must leave behind in the Harlot – the lies, false teaching, false guidance, false sin, false righteousness, and allegiance to the imposters that spread them. They’ve taken hold of God’s People, and the church is dying from sins related to them, as well as to better understood ones, like the worst sins from both the Old and New Testaments are in breaking the two greatest commandments of loving the Lord and loving each other (Matthew 19:19, 22:36-40, 5:43-48; Mark 12:28-34; Luke 10:27; Romans 13:8-10; Galatians 5:13-14; James 2:8; Leviticus 19:18). Too often I have seen Christians judging irrationally, holding tight to unforgiveness, and seeking revenge, especially in the recent years of civil unrest. In contrast to this, the Lord said, Do not judge, but forgive and leave room for Him to avenge (Matthew 7:1-5; Luke 6:37-38; 1 Corinthians 5:12-13; Romans 14:1-13; Romans 12:18-21).
Other sins are said to keep people, even believers, out of the kingdom of heaven. I give a complete list elsewhere (see The True Gospel and Imposters)
, but knowing exactly what to leave behind can be difficult. I made a basic outline here, but how to identify specific lies, false doctrine, and imposters is more involved, so I offer my help to anyone that asks. The church and God’s People can no longer blindly follow lies and imposters, as the very end of the age is drawing ever closer, and the Harlot will be completely destroyed in its great tribulations.
The beast and its kings will be a part of her destruction, because they hate the Harlot and will make her desolate and burn her with fire (Revelation 17:16-17), and the weeds of the devil and the bad fish of the church’s catch will be destroyed with her in fire, because some of the angels gathering them to be burned at the end of the age, are the angels who hold the final tribulations and plagues of Revelation that will destroy much of the earth and mankind (Matthew 13:30, 13:40-42, 13:49-50; Revelation 8:1-9:20, 11:15-19, 14:14-18:24).
But God’s People who are saved from that time - the Bride of Revelation 12 with the wings of a great eagle - will be kept safe, for a time, times, and half a time during the worst tribulations, because of her righteousness (Revelation 12:14).
Satan will be enraged by this and turn to persecute the rest of the church who are not protected, but who still keep the Lord’s commandments and hold to faith in Christ during the hour of man’s testing (Revelation 12:17, 3:10).
It will be a severe time, as the Lord said, “if God had not shortened those days, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect, whom He chose, He shortened them” (Mark 13:20).
And remember what God said to His People through Amos:
Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord Yehovah!… The day of Yehovah is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a snake bit him. Shall not the day of Yehovah be darkness, and not light? Even very dark, with no brightness in it?
I hate, I despise your festivals, and I will not delight in your solemn assemblies. Though you give offerings, I will not accept them, neither will I regard your rich offerings of peace. Take away from Me the noise of your songs, for I will not hear the melody of your music.
But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. Did you give Me offerings in the wilderness, during your scarcity, My people? But instead you have borne the tabernacle of your greed and upheld your idols and gods, which you made to yourselves. Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, says Yehovah, whose name is The God of hosts.
Given all I’ve said, will you take no action, continue to work with imposters and lies, and remain in the Harlot Babylon who will be persecuted by the beast and be destroyed? Or will you do more than simply pray for the strength to escape the final hour? (Luke 21:36)
The Lord said, “Be on alert” and “Be ready and keep your lamps lit, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will” (Matthew 24:42-44; Luke 12:35). No one, not even Christ or the angels, but only the Father knows when the hour of the Lord’s return will be (Matthew 24:36), but it is clearer now that the fig tree sprouts and summer is near, right at our doors (Matthew 24:32-33), so leave the Harlot as the Lord has warned and revealed her mystery. Put effort to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, so you come out of her and join the Bride who flies with wings to safety.
You might have noticed the Lord said above, “Keep your lamps lit.” That is a direct link to the Parable of the Ten Virgins waiting for the Lord to return (Matthew 25:1-13). Half of the virgins were unwise, though, and did not keep their lamps lit and were shut out from joining the Lord on His return. It is a direct reference to keeping eternal salvation in Christ and truly belonging to the Lord, its importance of which I have been talking about for coming safely through these times.
