This song emphasizes God's many names and titles, most of which were originally given in Hebrew. This was lost in most translations of scripture, especially where the Lord's Hebrew holy name was replaced by the all-caps title, LORD. These names are the ones the Israelites and Yeshua's (Jesus') family and disciples called the Lord by. They spoke Hebrew, Aramaic, and Ancient Greek - the original languages of the Bible. Also remember that Jesus is the English translation of the Lord's name and was not a language in the time of Christ.
Over the years I have been guided further and further to use God's actual names, so I prefer use His Hebrew names, because they were the first given and Christians have lost their sense of heritage with the Jews. We are one People under Christ with the Jews (Romans 10:12-13; 1 Corinthians 12:12-26; Galatians 3:26-29; Ephesians 2:11-22, 3:6; Colossians 3:11; 1 Peter 2:9-10; also Romans 12:4-5) and should know that heritage and God's actual names.
