At someone’s suggestion, I went to see the newly released movie, Sound of Freedom, about the true story of a United States federal agent working to free enslaved children from pedophiles and child sex traffickers. Though it was not a graphic movie and was well made in telling the heroic story to rescue children, it’s content may be too much for those who do not want to see people, especially children, suffering. It was that dark content, which I’ve come to know much more about since I began ministry, that made me feel incensed through most of the movie.

These are real things that are happening to children and people everywhere, and I know the Lord had me see the movie now for good reasons, because in recent months I’ve been working with a woman struggling to heal from much abuse that came at the hands of church leadership and in believing communities. This is not the first woman I counseled that suffered for most of her life because of abuse in families and communities of faith. Over the years, I have seen far too many testimonies of sex abuse, abuse of authority, and cover-ups in the church.

It is enraging that anyone in authority would use their position to abuse, prey, and protect abusers rather than victims. I’ve seen stories of this happening in government, law enforcement, and the military, and in fact, when I got home from the movie, I saw a new news clip in my email about a sex abuse scandal and cover-up in the U.S. Coast Guard.

God is enraged at such abuse of authority outside of His house. How do you think He feels about such abuse in His house?

Cursed are those who use God’s name and authority for unrighteous or selfish gain. Cursed are those who use God’s name and authority to abuse and prey on others. Cursed are those who use God’s name and authority to hide their evils and continue to abuse and prey on others.

Their fruits will whither and decay. Their authority will be broken. Their wickedness will be made plain.

For the time has come that you would again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between the one who serves God and the one who does not serve Him.

Some days after I saw the Sound of Freedom movie, I noted news articles about its lead actor, Jim Caviezel, and the real person he portrays, Tim Ballard, as being prominent advocates of Q-Anon conspiracy theories, which I have noted before as being demonically influenced (see Update to The People's Loss of Discernment and Update to The Lord said, Let no one argue... for more). I also noted the producers and film studio, Angel Studios, as being founded by Mormons, a sect of Christianity I've flagged as having serious doctrinal issues and false teachings (see Ministry Warnings for more). However, I do not know how involved in false teachings and church leadership the producers are involved in. I only know they started their film productions because they wanted to make content that aligned with their faith.

Even though I did not notice any serious issues with spiritual teaching in Sound of Freedom, I cannot say that for the producers' or studio's other works, one of which is a series portraying the life of Christ. And I must say that I avoid most of the church's film and other media productions (the church in general, not only Mormons) because of the use of false teachings in them. It is also dangerous to over embellish things that are sacred to God. It can amount to lying and false teaching, which I've stated much is cursed because it is sin (Galatians 1:8-9).

The Jews have historically had the right attitude about making creative works based on scripture. They did NOT make them because they revere God and His works. Reverence for spiritual things and the avoidance of misrepresenting them is also why I avoid such works. Making things up about angels and demons, for instance, could be very serious blasphemy if there is libel in it (Jude 1:8-9). Remember, the archangel Michael dared not speak abusively at the devil, but only said, "The Lord rebuke you!" (Jude 1:9). This should be of note to the church and all believers, because I've seen ministers railing abusively against demons and Satan. If it is sin to speak falsehoods about demons, then what about Christ and His life? Note this and do not pursue or support works that give too much "creative freedom" to what is spiritually sacred.

Blasphemy, though, is not what prompted me to make this update. Today, I saw a news release about an operation that freed 200 sex trafficking victims, almost 60 of which were missing children^[1.1]. I've heard critics talking about how Sound of Freedom sensationalizes and exaggerates child sex trafficking, and that it might hurt the fight against human trafficking and child prostitution.The movie mainly portrayed child trafficking as something that happens with strangers kidnapping children, but most victims of this are trafficked by people the children already know and are "groomed" and persuaded or forced into sex trafficking^[1.2].

Because the movie does not say much about this and very much focuses on kidnapping and strangers, it can be harmful for children because they could become too naive about people they trust more, like family members, teachers, authority figures, and people in their immediate community. It is these "trusted" people that are most responsible for sex abuse of any kind, and they are the common denominator in the stories of sex abuse and rape I have dealt with as a minister. These cases have ruined the lives of people from a young age, as I mentioned in the first post, and many of them are unreported to law enforcement. They are so common and so often covered-up, especially in faithful, believing communities, that it is sickening.

So despite that prominent people involved in the Sound of Freedom actively support lies and exaggeration from Q conspiracy, and the movie focuses only on kidnapped victims, we need to keep in mind these crimes are real and actually very common. They are not orchestrated by a rich, elite cabal, as theorists say, but are mainly done by common criminals and the everyday person. And outside of human trafficking and forced prostitution, sex abuse and rape, are even more common and perpetrated by these same trusted members of the community. Truly, these days have come to depravity, for what Christ said has come true, "lawlessness is increased, most people’s love [of the faith] will become cold" (Matthew 24:12).

When Tim realized his name was in it, he saw it as a sign that his life was to be devoted to freeing children from slavery. However, he was uncertain about it being something as definitely from God, because he said about it, "To me, call it luck, chance, coincidence, God, whatever you want to call it, it was a message. That necklace symbolized a calling now to me. It meant so much and I decided, then and there, that this is it, this is what I’m called to do, this is what I’ll do for the rest of my life"^[1.3].

However, I can say for certain that necklace was God's sign to Tim so that his calling would be made clear to him. I've seen much of God's signs and wonders on the earth, which are His orchestration of physical things to show his guidance and the truth. And in this sign to Tim, I see another. The scripture God used on the pendant has a 611 reference in it (1 Timothy 6:11), which is a number the Lord gave me before I believed in Him yet it spoke of my future as a minister (see Predestined for details). Over the years, I came to understand 611 means Servant and also links to God's true names (see 611 in The Meaning of Numbers for more), and now, noticing the 1 Timothy 6:11 link, I see God gave even more proof of the number's meaning. So Tim Ballard did get a strong sign from God to follow his path as a man of God to free enslaved children.

However, critics of the film, Tim Ballard, and his organization, OUR, have stated they sensationalized Tim's hero role in the movie (in real life he did not save the boy's sister in a jungle rescue), and OUR is not transparent about how they spend the millions in donations they get^{[1.3, 1.4]}. Elevating one's deeds with lies in a work that is supposed to document truth and misusing significant amounts of charitable funds obviously oppose the virtues of righteousness, godliness, and meekness in 1 Timothy 6:11, so I must caution to not give blind support where false teachings and lies are involved, they are the foundations of the Harlot Babylon which God is destroying in our days. If you want to give support, there are many other people and organizations working in the field of human trafficking that do not have issues with integrity.

Teach your families to hold strong in God's help and strength as you also lead and teach them in righteous lives. This may be cliché, and even pointless when you consider that many children and people who fall victim to sex abuse are believers and belong to believing families and communities. This was a big point in the initial post, and the children portrayed in Sound of Freedom came from Mexico, Latin, and South America, which are largely Catholic. The abducted sister who gave her brother the 1 Timothy 6 pendant makes this point obvious. She came from a Christian family and believed in help from God. She gave her brother the pendant as a symbol of hope for him.

I've seen this play out in many other people's lives. Where was God for them?

It leads me to talk about something that few who are involved in sex abuse and human trafficking cases really understand. These horrible things would not happen in the first place, especially to innocent children, if sin in the lives of their families and communities was taken care of. This was something I noted as I watched the film, because the Lord's work in me has very much been towards understanding how sin affects more than the person that does it. The sin of one person can make a whole family suffer because generational curses are real - God does punish the children and descendants, "inflicting the punishment of the parents on the children to the third and the fourth generations" (Numbers 14:18; also Exodus 20:5; Deuteronomy 5:9).

A lot of believers don't think generational curses are real or that a loving God would punish innocent children, but reality shows the truth and backs up what God states in scripture (see Myth: Children cannot get curses or judgment for parents' and ancestors' sins anymore for more). Why would God do this? It's because we are supposed to take sin and doing the right things seriously. We are supposed to have a healthy fear of God, so that we would leave sin and do right. The health and well-being of our loved ones is at stake too.

So know that God still blesses and protects, but the most blessing and protection comes to those who live righteous in His eyes, not by the notions of man or the errant church. This is why I said, teach your families to hold strong in God's help and strength as you also lead and teach them in righteous lives.

The church is very quick to latch onto good promises of God, like "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahovah. Trust also in Him and He will do it" (Psalm 37:4-5) and "And do not forget any of [the Lord's] benefits, Who pardons all your guilt... Who crowns you with favor and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things and renews your youth like the eagle's. Yahovah performs righteous deeds and judgments for all who are oppressed... Yahovah is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy" (Psalm 103:2-8).

These promises are all good and certainly should apply to innocent, enslaved children. God considers them oppressed as noted in Psalm 103, but again, where is God's help and protection for them? This is where people need the teaching and leadership of servants for God who are approved in handling scripture - those who know and teach in complete and correct context.

If you read the quoted psalms in full and proper context, you will see that the promises of good things from God go with being righteous and loyal to God.

"Trust in the Lord and do good. Live in the land and cultivate faithfulness [to Him]. Delight yourself in Yahovah, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahovah. Trust also in Him and He will do it. He will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday" (Psalm 37:3-6).

And in Psalm 103, we see the same things after the good promises are stated: "For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our wrongdoings from us. Just as a father has compassion on his children, so Yahovah has compassion on those who fear Him... But the mercy of Yahovah is from everlasting to everlasting for those who fear Him, and His righteousness to the children’s children to those who keep His covenant and remember His commandments, so as to do them" (Psalm 103:11-18).

Three times, Psalm 103 notes that healthy fear of the Lord I brought up, which is supposed to keep us from sinning and therefore hurting our loved-ones as well. And even more specific to our conversation about generational curses and horrible things happening to innocent children, the last fear of the Lord in Psalm 103 goes with the statement, God's righteousness will be on generations (children's children) for those who live in His commands, which refers to living righteously as He defines it.

That last point is one that is often misunderstood by believers of all sects. Christianity, Judaism, and Islam all think they know what God's commands are, but obviously, the terrible things happening to believers and their children prove otherwise. This speaks to the effects of sin and false teaching, which is a sin as well.

It was years ago that one of God's signs showed me the church had things seriously wrong. In 2014, I saw a news article noting 474 unidentified babies' graves at an Ireland mother and baby home^{[1.6, 1.7]}. These Irish mother baby homes were run by the church to care for women who were pregnant out of wedlock in the early to mid-20th Century. Despite being run by people of faith (both Catholic and Protestant) and promising to care for woman and their babies, many hundreds of babies died in these homes and mass graves were found. When I saw 474 in this, I noted it as a very bad sign because God had me link that number to 474 BC, the year a royal decree in Babylon was made to annihilate the Jews. This was written about in the Book of Esther if you want to see the complete story.

In the Book of Esther, though, the Jews are saved by another royal decree, which I also noted happened months later in 473 BC (see 473, 474 in The Meaning of Numbers for more). The 474 babies, though, had a different fate which I understood to mean they did not get to 473 where God's help and protection was. I had noted that scripture states God helps and protects orphans and the oppressed, so why should so many innocent children die in these church run facilities that are supposed to be blessed by God? Why did God link this to 474 BC's story of Esther?

Many years ago, I knew it had to do with sin and that the people and church running these places were not truly of God or blessed by God. But I didn't see a more direct link to "not being God's" until I saw the article again today. It states the 474 graves out of almost 800 were for "unclaimed bodies" of babies^[1.6]. This goes with how they are linked to the 474 BC death decree, but they did not see God's help like the Jews did, because of the sins of their parents and caregivers (the church) made God turn away. So remember the warnings in all these things and the importance of the fear of the Lord. Living lives with no reverence for God or what is right will leave you and your loved ones unprotected.

More very bad news has come forward about Tim Ballard and his non-profit, OUR, that fights sex trafficking. There are many allegations of dishonest gain, which I said the Lord hates (Jeremiah 22:13-17; Habukkuk 2:6; Psalm 119:36; Ezekiel 22:13-14; 1 Timothy 3:8; Titus 1:7, 1:10-11; 1 Peter 5:2)^[2.1], and now also allegations from many women for sexual misconduct by Tim^{[2.1, 2.2]}.

In the last update, I noted it was a very bad choice, and sin, that Tim and the Sound of Freedom movie producers would fictionalize the rescue of the girl that ended the movie, and I have noted that the LDS or Mormon Church, of which Tim and the movie studio are associated with, have a chronic lust for generating great wealth that is used unrighteously by taking advantage of authority in God, as well as the empathy of well-meaning people to fight the darkness of the world.

I also said in the last update, that God gave Tim a real and miraculous sign so that Time would devote himself to saving children in sex trafficking. The sign came with a quote of 1 Timothy 6:11, "But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness," which I also noted, Tim was not being faithful towards.

Now, because real spiritual guidance from God being mixed with people who come from sects or denominations that are corrupted by the devil may bring you to completely reject everything from them, or from me for that matter, because I have gotten many similar real-world signs from God. But I must note a significant difference.

An approved servant for the Lord must understand that God does give good spiritual guidance to people in false teachings and who are loyal to imposters of God, the demon Baals of this age. However, until these people work to remove these Baals and what is false out of their lives, it is the darkness that has most control over them and their work.

So, approved servant needs to be able to pick out what is right and true from what is bad and false, and not simply reject everything, as stated, “Do not quench the Spirit, do not despise prophecies, but examine everything. Hold firmly to what is good, stay away from every form of evil” (1 Thessalonians 5:19-22). Of course, I have seen the church use that verse often to backup their false teachings and false guidance, so discerning what is good and bad is extremely difficult, especially if you believe in lies and false teaching. Much experience and help from God is needed to be approved in this.

Praise the Lord that He has help me become approved! I devoted myself and this ministry to finding the actual truth and ways of God so that all that is false can be left behind. That was and continues to be the good fight God has led me on in my years of ministry, and the Lord has rewarded me with much proof of what is right and true. I cannot claim to be sinless, nor to have walked without any mistakes in the good fight, but the Lord has backed up what I teach many, many times. Go through what is on this site and you will see it.

Because I had made much effort to leave sin and what is false, I have not had serious failures in righteousness. And because of the Lord’s anointment in me for the truth and good teaching, He has given me much to share for His people.

But for people who have lived for a long time in false teachings and remain loyal to them, very often they fall to sin, darkness, and temptations. Greed, dishonesty, and unrighteous use of donations are big problems with the Mormon Church, as well as other sects. Sexual immorality, too, are big problems for them, as well. I don’t think I have to say more about that when news about the church’s and other believing sects’ misconduct in sexual sins has been so common for many years now.

This is all shameful for a People of God. When I first saw the Sound of Freedom, I felt it was a well told story and was inspired by what was marketed as a true story, but now after much more of the truth behind the story and everyone involved has come out, I am severely disappointed that God’s people have not changed at all in all the sins I have been speaking of and fighting against.

May Tim Ballard and all involved with dishonesty and unrighteousness in OUR (Tim’s non-profit, Operation Underground Railroad) and their other organizations change their ways and do as God gave in the 611 sign given to Tim - Flee from greed and harmful desires, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness (1 Timothy 6:11).

Isn’t it ironic what the previous verses say in light of what has happened?

“But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs” (1 Timothy 6:9-10).

This has happened not only to Tim Ballard and the Mormon Church, but throughout the church, today and in its history. So may all heed and distance from people and organizations that remain loyal to what is false and wrong, those foundations of the Harlot Babylon that God has been urging His people out of.

Instead, “In all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us” (Titus 2:6-8).
