Cantaire Dé composed this song on the mandolin as a backdrop for the last scene in the first chapter of his book Aching Prosperity
. The melody is a rush towards an opportunity that is in danger of disappearing forever. The aggressive tremolo chords in this song were responsible for breaking many guitar picks until Cantaire found thin picks that could withstand more than a session. The blue Dunlop gel picks generally did not break and only wore down, but the gray Dunlop Nylon 0.60mm picks were the only ones not to break or wear down much at all, though, Martin and Fender picks made a more desired sharp sound. The song was recorded with a Martin pick.
