In late 2008, I felt the need to start a new life with the Lord and start ministry. On December 1st, 2008, I left work at night and saw big and bright in the southwestern sky, the waxing moon and two stars in a striking configuration I'd never seen before (below). I thought it looked like a draftsman's compass. I strongly felt it was speaking something important to me and had to do with naming my future ministry.
Later I also connected it with the Scripture of Joel 2:30 and Acts 2:19 as one of the signs and wonders in the heavens for our time.
The crescent moon and stars, or actually the planets of Jupiter and Saturn, I believe, inspired the notion of the 3rd Compass and logo (below). In my first book1 in 2009, I spoke about how the 3rd Compass actually refers to God and Christ as the Compass Who encompasses all things. The logo was a prominent feature of the book's cover.
Many years later, I found out a waxing moon represents growing towards maturity and fullness. This went with my ministry's main goal of teaching God's people towards realizing the same kind of spiritual growth. I found it interesting that it is the opposite of Islam's waning crescent moon, which symbolizes dying or moving towards death.
Later on as I conducted ministry, I got more guidance from the Lord that the 3rd Compass logo goes with bringing out and refining deeper, more detailed knowledge of the truth and God's Kingdom. That also goes with the symbolism of a drawing compass to draw or draft up.
This symbolism further went with my part in revealing the truth about the New Covenant of salvation in Christ2, and also goes with the waxing moon to represent going towards fullness of knowledge and salvation in Christ.
When I was making new business cards in 2014, I felt I had to update the ministry logo with the Bride in it. The Bride, Church, or God's People is a very important part of this ministry because a main goal is to prepare God's People for the Lord. The Bride is also called New Jerusalem in Revelation 3:12 and 21:2 and Hephzibah in Isaiah 62:4, meaning "My delight is in her."
I found an image made by a 3rd-party whom I didn't know showing God's Wed Bride from Revelation 12 standing on the moon, pregnant with her crown of 12 stars, and dressed in a wedding gown trimmed with gold.
A week before, I was led to Psalm 45:9, which describes Christ's Bride at the right hand of God's throne in gold of Ophir, so I recognized the image as exactly matching guidance from the Lord. Her being at God's right hand also matches where Christ's Bride would be with Him since Jesus is at God's right hand (Psalm 110:1; Matthew 26:64; Mark 14:62; Acts 2:33-34, 7:55-56; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 12:2). Furthermore, the gold of Ophir was well known to be the purest7, which would represent Godly refinement to highest degree. That also goes with the 3rd Compass symbolism of bringing greater detail to the truth since knowledge is also getting refined.
Then I added the glowing cross, which the Bride is reaching for, because we need to reach forward towards Christ's example of righteousness, so we can perfect ourselves and win the prize of the spiritual race - an imperishable crown in the Kingdom of heaven (Philippians 3:13-16; 1 Corinthians 9:24-27).
Later, I added the wings to the Bride to correspond with how She gets the wings of an eagle and flies to safety in Revelation 12:14. How that happened is another example of God preparing things well in advance for me, because I found a dove in my old clip-art library that had wings spread out to fit with the Bride's exact standing position. I had the clip-art library for about twenty years, well before I was saved by the Lord, and it was the only bird image in the library that fit the Bride in the new logo. It's also interesting the bird was a dove, which goes with symbolizing the Holy Spirit.
The Bride receiving wings like an eagle and flying to safety goes with how people are given protection when they belong to the Lord3. "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).
Originally, I did not use a church name in the logo. I only used the 3rd Compass name for ministry, but in 2014 I formed a church and I thought 3rd Compass Church did not sound like a good church name. Eventually, I was guided to choose Christ Hephzibah Church for the Lord's people need to remember her Hebrew heritage and fellowship.
You probably noticed the 3rd Compass name is still in the logo. It is still important for this ministry and stands for - God as the beginning and foundation. In 2015 and 2016 during my study of gematria guidance (the numerical value of words), I was very surprised to see that the 3rd Compass name had God's fingerprint in it by its English gematria value, 111.
I was given that number years ago in guidance and understood it to referred to God as the Holy Trinity, because He is both 1 and 3 (1+1+1 = 3) at the same time. There is also further meaning in the number that goes with Jesus' first coming and the Holy Spirit coming to us in completeness4, so 111 encapsulates God's wholeness in the Holy Trinity becoming complete with Jesus' first coming, death, and resurrection.
3rd Compass equating to be 111 and God, as I mentioned before, puts His stamp of authenticity on the name and this ministry as being truly anointed by Him. After all, I have no way of manipulating the gematria value of 3rd Compass or all the linked guidance.
Another amazing stamp of God's authenticity for this ministry was found when I was writing this information. I saw the page number for the reference notes of Psalm 45:9 about the gold of Ophir (page 1101)7 matched my reference to Psalm 110:1 above as I wrote about how the Bride and Christ are on God's right hand.
I've seen the Lord prepare Bibles, like my NIV and NASB Study Bibles, and other physical things so they are made just right to fit guidance with numbers, prophecy, and other things many, many times4,5,8, such as guidance with the meaning of the numbers 111 and 2134 aligning with the pages of my NIV Bible so that a two page spread at the beginning of Jeremiah started and ended on verse numbers 1:11 and 2:13 exactly5. The level of detail and control God has over the world is simply mind boggling.
